Pastels on the Plaza is an annual benefit for Northcoast Children's Services who provides early childhood education and family services to almost 1000 low income families with young children throughout Humboldt and Del Norte counties each year. Businesses and artists are currently being sought for participation in this year’s event. For more information about this event, check out www.ncsheadstart.org or call 822-7206.
This year, NCS will be holding the event over 2 days - Saturday, October 2nd and Sunday October 3rd to help make the event safer! This will allow us to provide more space for the artists to be able to physically distance.
Whether you are an artist, sponsor or simply a lover of art, come take a stroll around the Arcata plaza on October 2nd to see the marvelous works of art before the rain washes them away!
NCS encourages participants and viewers to take precautions to help our community keep healthy including getting vaccinated as soon as possible and wearing masks when indoors or unable to be physically distant.
