Hands on PASTA making workshop, no prior pasta making experience required!

Join pasta chef Laurie Boucher (@baltimorehomecook) for a fun, hands-on southern Italian pasta workshop! Laurie will demonstrate how to make a traditional eggless dough by hand, then guide you in shaping pre-prepared dough into beautiful southern-style pasta using simple tools — no machines or fancy equipment needed. You’ll take home enough pasta to serve two adults, along with cooking and storage instructions.

Your ticket includes:

• A hands-on pasta class (no experience needed)

• Dough-making demonstration (you’ll use dough prepared in advance)

• Shaping guidance

• You will make enough pasta for two (8oz), packaged to go at the end of class.

This is a hands-on pasta workshop, led by Chef Laurie Boucher (@baltimorehomecook), former pasta chef at Cafe Campli and owner of Pasta Made Simple, which hosts private at home pasta parties, group classes, and pasta-making events.

No prior pasta making experience necessary.

This class will include a dough making demonstration by Chef Laurie.

With pre-prepared pasta dough, you will learn how to create a number of interesting and unique regional pasta shapes by hand using common household tools as well as being introduced to more specialized pasta tools.

Chef Laurie will demonstrate how to form a variety of southern hand formed shapes, and you will then transform your own dough into those beautiful pasta shapes.

The pasta you make will create two adult portions of pasta which will be packaged to go at the end of class.
