Maryland's maritime culture seems to permeate through many facets of our lives. Join us as we meet the African American men and women working the Chesapeake Bay waters today. A panel consisting of Imani Black, founder of Minorities in Aquaculture, Vince Leggett, founder of Blacks of the Chesapeake, and Captain Lamont Wright, one of the premier charter captains on the Eastern Shore for over 30 years, will share their stories, experiences and how they are moving forward to intentionally engage with the community.
