Passivhaus In The Pub (Yorkshire) returns to Leeds for another informal evening of conversation around Passivhaus, retrofit and delivering better housing.
About this event
Passivhaus In The Pub is heading to Leeds for UKREiiF week and you don't need a conference pass to join us.
This is an independent free community event, not affiliated with UKREiiF. We're simply making the most of having thousands of brilliant built environment professionals in the city, and giving them somewhere relaxed to go on the opening evening. Pull up a stool, grab a pint, and talk buildings with people who genuinely care about them.
No slides. No panels. No corporate agenda. Just good conversation in a pub.
What is Passivhaus In The Pub?
We're a grassroots community bringing together architects, engineers, developers, housing associations, contractors, local authorities and sustainability enthusiasts to talk about low-energy, high-performance buildings in the most informal setting possible. We've been doing it this for a while now and it's always a great night.
Who comes along?
Everyone from seasoned Passivhaus certifiers to people who've just started specifying triple glazing and want to know what comes next. If you work in the built environment and care about doing it better, you'll fit right in. Beginners very welcome.
Why on UKREiiF week?
Because if you're in Leeds for the conference, or just in the area, this is the perfect way to start the week. Relax, meet new people, and have the kind of honest conversations that don't always happen on the main stage.
This session we'll be picking up conversations from recent events around the practical challenges of delivering Net Zero housing in the UK but as always, the evening goes wherever the room takes it.
