Passion of the Cut Sleeve: Galloping Into the Lunar New Year Show

Join us for a celebration of the Lunar New Year at Plaza de la Raza, presented by Passion of the Cut Sleeve in partnership with the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs.

Experience modern queer and trans interpretations of Chinese folklore and love stories through theatre, poetry, movement, and drag, accompanied by a live band playing traditional Chinese instruments. Together, we welcome the Year of the Fire Horse with a joyful, intergenerational event rooted in community, culture, and storytelling.

The performance runs approximately 80 minutes with no intermission.

Admission is free and first-come, first-served.

Reserving a ticket on Eventbrite does not guarantee admission, so please plan to arrive early. Doors open at 6:30 PM.
