✨ The 5th Annual Passage Gathering is right around the corner! This is the most ambitious and intentional version of this event yet and we are beyond excited to meet you in the woods again. Tickets and Information can be found at passagegathering.com and on Instagram at @passage.gathering
⚡️You are invited to join us at a 30-acre private, wooded property called RoxannaLand in East Alabama for two nights of camping and music from a huge team of DJs and artists from all over the Southeast, combining crews, genres, and cities for a collaborative vibe in every aspect.
⚡️Our vision for Passage is both a celebration of and a catalyst for new beginnings. We believe in the power of intention; setting a direction for our own futures with the mindfulness and determination necessary to manifest our own realities. At Passage, we will intentionally embrace the ending of an era and the beginning of a new one… whatever that may mean for you. For you that might mean the turning of a page to a new job or home, the prospect of a new partner or child, or a decision to pursue a new goal with fervor. State your intentions, share them with others, pursue them with passion. Uplift your neighbor as they do the same.
⚡️The RoxannaLand property is home to a unique geological phenomenon in which the granite bedrock is exposed in massive swaths. The esoteric energy of the land at Roxanna has attracted the curious and inspired for decades - and perhaps millenia - playing host to all sorts of independently minded events, including local Pagan festivals and Burner gatherings. The property is a playground of trails, clearings, and curious features, endowed with the conscious spiritual intention of its open-minded owners.

While not technically a Burn, Passage Gathering will resemble a Burn in the ethos of The Ten Principles of Burning Man and will include an 11th Principle: Consent. You can read the 11 principles here:

With these principles in mind, here are some of the details and guidelines that will affect you in practical ways:
☽The ultimate goal of Passage is to create a safe and accepting environment in which each attendee feels free and encouraged to be themselves and express their true self without fear of condemnation. Any act of discrimination, intimidation, or prejudice will be met with absolute and immediate sanction and you will be asked to leave the event.
☽Radical self-reliance is not just symbolic. This is true primitive camping. You will need to be prepared to support yourself with everything you need to survive and thrive in the wild, rain or shine. This will be one step slightly more involved than camping at a music festival due to the limited facilities. There will be no food or ice available for purchase. Help yourself, help your neighbor. If you need advice on camping gear, DM any of the hosts.
☽This location is fairly remote. It is not practical to drive to the nearest town for fast food or cigarettes during the event. Furthermore, due to the nature of this event and its remote location, the gates will be closed nightly at 9pm. This is to prevent local joyriders coming into the event and event participants leaving while intoxicated. Please do not attempt to leave the property after lockdown unless you have a genuine emergency.
☽All local, state, and federal laws must be obeyed at all times. Any infraction of the law (especially assault of any kind) is grounds for expulsion from the site or even arrest, if necessary. Use, possession, and sale of controlled substances is illegal.
☽Firearms are not allowed on the property.
☽Glass bottles are not allowed on the property. If you are seen with glass, you will be asked to throw it away immediately.
☽Pets are not allowed on the property. It will be deer hunting season, and local hunters do not take kindly to wandering dogs interrupting their hunt. Take this very seriously. Do not bring your dogs.
☽Do not wander off the property. There are fairly obvious natural boundaries around the edges of the property. Don’t test them.
☽Pace yourself. This is a time to explore your consciousness, not your drinking limits.
☽There will be multiple fire rings lit throughout the property, and fire extinguishers provided. Do your part to keep this awesome feature of the property safe and responsible throughout the event. We can all prevent forest fires.
☽The property supports some very unique micro-ecosystems, of which we must be very protective. Our property host has asked that we avoid stepping on the moss and lichen concentrations on the bedrock. You’ll know what we mean when you see the property.
☽Leave absolutely no trace of your visit to RoxannaLand. Do not damage anything on the property, and be prepared to take every piece of trash, every cigarette butt, every water bottle, ALL trash… with you when you leave. We will provide some receptacles, but do your part to ensure that the property is left better than we found it. Collecting your grey water in a container for proper disposal later is encouraged.
