Hailing from Valparaiso, Chile, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Pascuala Ilabaca is a unique and treasured voice in both the Latin American and World Music scenes. In little over a decade, she has released seven albums and performed on multiple world tours. Pascuala returns to the Windy City after her Chicago debut in 2022 at Martyrs through the ILCC and a subsequent performance at the City Winery in 2023. She is known for her flamboyant and captivating performances along with her potent band Fauna. Pascuala is a winner of Chile’s 2016 Pulsar Music Awards as well as a Pulsar 2024 nominee for Best Singer Songwriter; handed out by the Sociedad Chilena de Derecho de Autor, the annual awards recognize the best in Chilean music releases. She also performed at the closing ceremony of the PanAmerican Games in 2023 and at the official ceremony at the presidential palace in Santiago de Chile marking 50 years since the 1973 coup.
