Pasadena Chorale Presents Mozart: Mass in C-Minor

On November 18, the award-winning Pasadena Chorale, accompanied by a 30-piece orchestra, will present Mozart’s incomparable Mass in C-minor. Mozart composed the piece shortly after his wedding to Constanze, for whom he wrote the soprano solos, hoping to convince his father to bless their new union. The work was premiered in Mozart’s hometown of Salzburg in 1783 to much acclaim and has been a choral favorite since.
