Come join us for an exciting in-person event at The Place ( Kings Cross) London, UK, Studio 7. This Ballet Master class is perfect for dancers looking to enhance their pas de deux skills or trying for the first time. We will learn basics sections like balances , promenades and simple pirouettes. A great opportunity to elevate your dance abilities and connect with fellow dancers. Hope to see you there!
We will first warm up with a quick ballet barre , then introducing to pas de deux technique
Suggested level : Beginners to Intermediate - non professional and professionals welcome! No pointe shoes necessary . ( Please only wear them if you take pointe classes )

Meet the Teachers !
* Giovanna Lamboglia
Giovanna began her training in Brazil at 9 years old and moved to Rio de Janeiro to attended the Maria Olenewa State Dance School (Municipal Ballet of Rio de Janeiro affiliated School), based on Vaganova Methodology. She graduated in 2014 and performed with the Company in Coppelia and Nutcraker productions. She was awarded First Place and Best dancer in National competitions. She has competed in and placed in numerous International Competitions including American Dance Competition 2015, USA (Top 15 with Variation and Highest Score with Pas Deux); 7th Helsinki International Ballet Competition 2012,Finland; Youth America Grand Prix NYC Finals 2013, USA; Silver Medal at the International Dance Seminar In Brasilia, 2011,Brazil.
In 2015 she got a soloist contract to dance with Ballets de France in Toulouse, France.
She moved to Canada in 2016 to be a Soloist Dancer with Canada´s Ballet Jörgen. In Toronto she also had the pleasure to work with Evelyn Hart in her own group and with teachers and choreographers of National Ballet of Canada.
Giovanna secured a scholarship to complete her American Ballet Theatre National Teaching Curriculum provided by YUMIKO dancewear and has since been teaching in Canada, Brazil and England, and leading international masterclasses for students across the world, from France to India. Giovanna is now based in London where she is a freelance dancer and teacher where she teaches at Danceworks , London Ballet Classes and Cit Lit . She holds a degree for Cultural Production and is also a founder of Dance Connections Agency where she help dancers to achieve their dreams in the dance industry. She is guest artist doing the role of Clara since 2018 with Symphony of Halifax in Canada .

*Donatien Ravet
Donatien Ravet was born in Puyricard and trained at the Mediterranean Academy of Dance in Marseille before joining the Ballet Méditerranéen. He has performed major roles in many ballets from the classical repertoire productions and in ballets specifically created for him. He also trained with renowned teachers including Ciryl Atanassof, Elisabeth Platel, Eric Quilleré and Attilio Labis. After his performance in La Sylphide in March 2005 at Palais des Congrès de Marseille he was nominated Étoile Danseur. Donatien has worked as a soloist with ballet companies in France, taught and choreographed in various schools in France, Malta, and Japan, and served as the Artistic Director of the MCC Theater Dance Showcase in 2018.
