About this Event
You are invited to celebrate the end of summer at Maryland's gorgeous Bay Bridge-viewing state park: Sandy Point. Note: There is a $5 per person entrance fee.
This party is designed to be an all day-getaway on the Chesapeake Bay! The Lehman's will offer grilled meat, veggies and some drinks. Please bring your favorite dish to add to the potluck (link coming soon).
In addition, there will be an opportunity to showcase your talent, in our talent show and test your luck in our raffle!
Details about the site:
The Lehman's have rented the Heron shelter which features the following:
- This shelter holds 180 people.
- Has 35 designated parking spaces.
- Paved access for persons with disabilities.
- Waterview and is 128 feet to the beach.
- Has large group grill.
- Has 20 amp electric service and lights.
- Open play area nearby for soccer, volleyball and other field games.
- A playground within site of the pavillion.
- And finally is 165 feet to the screened in restroom.
This is the largest and BEST shelter at Sandy Point! It is sold out for the rest of the year!
