Party in the Park featuring Willamette Riverkeeper

This quarter's gathering will be the ultimate in summer fun, a potluck in the park, and we sure hope you'll join us.

Featured partner is none other than Willamette Riverkeeper. Meet the WRK team, hear about the exciting work they're doing to protect and restore the Willamette River, and discover ways you can make a difference. Co-Directors Heather and Michelle say, "Whether you're passionate about clean water, love getting outside, or simply want to connect with others who care about our region's natural spaces, we'd love to chat with you. Come say hello, ask questions, and see what we're working on. We can't wait to connect with you!"

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• The event is BYOB (alcohol allowed) and a potluck. We'll be in touch with registrants about a week before the event with a sign-up sheet to bring a shared food item.
• The gathering spot is Willamette Parks' covered picnic shelter. Both the picnic shelter and the bathrooms are listed as ADA accesible.
• We'll be right on the river, woohoo! So bring your sunscreen and any toys like kayaks/paddleboards. You're welcome to show up early and stay late.

• COMMUNITY RESOURCE TABLE: Please bring any flyers or other info you'd like to distribute (keeping in mind that we'll have ONE table to be shared by all).

The event is free, and kids are welcome. Let's have some summertime fun together!

Willamette Park has a paid parking lot. The park can be accessed via S Nebraska Street, SW Nevada Street, S Miles Place, S Beaver Avenue, and the Willamette Greenway Trail.

Intertwine Summits are wonderful, but they only happen every 18 months. We need more time together!
