Pride in Bloom is back and brighter than ever, transforming the Museum into a vibrant, all-ages destination filled with glamour, curiosity, and a whole lot of heart. Co-created with Drag Arts Lab, this joyful celebration welcomes all, from the youngest explorers to lifelong learners, to experience a special drag musical that blends drag art with natural science. This family-friendly performance beautifully explores how transformation and resilience shine in both the natural world and our human communities.
Throughout the day, visitors of all generations can engage with interactive activities designed to inspire and connect. Embark on a rainbow scavenger hunt that links the symbolism of Pride flags to the Museum's vast collections, or stop by our craft station to create a custom pronoun pin (while supplies last). Between the festivities, guests can browse a mini resource fair, groove to the DJ on the Plaza, get their faces painted, or join our Museum Educators for casual pop-up chats centered on diversity, adaptation, and resilience in nature.
Whether you are bringing the kids, joining friends, or visiting solo, this event offers a welcoming and educational space for the entire community to celebrate together!
