What is AfroCAN?

AfroCAN is a revolutionary annual summer-time celebration of black excellence and culture.

The much anticipated summer-time revolutionary celebration returns to Tampa Bay on June 18th, 2023 - commemorative to Juneteenth will celebrate this historic holiday by highlighting pure excellence.

Hosted in the heart of Downtown Tampa, AfroCAN will take the shape of an immersive outdoor featuring featuring live performances including black representation in live art, music, dj, and fashion along with cultured cuisine, a Juneteenth history walk, and clusters of villages featuring black owned brands.
