Partner Registration: Youth Arts Summit 2024

Youth Art Exchange presents The 13th Annual San Francisco Youth Arts Summit, a celebration of young artists and their vibrant contributions to the creative and cultural fabric of San Francisco.

The San Francisco Youth Arts Summit, a project facilitated by Youth Art Exchange, is an annual gathering of young artists and arts educators, and the only event of its kind in the Bay Area. The Youth Arts Summit will take place on April 27, 2024 from 1-5pm at YAX Studios at La Fénix,1950 Mission Street.

At the Summit, young artists lead and participate in workshops, interactive installations, exhibits, and performances. In bringing together young artists from across the Bay Area, the Youth Arts Summit represents the next generation’s most innovative artists, filmmakers, architects, musicians, performers, and writers.

Youth and representatives from organizations across the Bay Area come together to plan the Summit, building leadership and youth voice within the arts education and arts advocacy landscape, and forging deeper connections between young people and the organizations that they represent. We want to connect self identified youth artists to various arts colleges and arts programs and are inviting higher education institutions to participate to provide information and portfolio advice. This spirit of collaboration carries throughout the Summit and beyond to create a growing network of young artists, youth arts organizations, and higher education.

There are many ways to get involved like:

- Exhibiting your young artists’ work (visual artwork, films, live performances)

and/or

- Tabling at the Youth Arts Summit

and/or

- Bringing youth to attend

and/or

- Conducting a workshop, professional development session, or panel discussion

and/or

- Providing college information + portfolio advice

and/or

- Sponsoring the activities

Participating organizations will need to register and submit a registration fee. These fees support the publicity, organizing, workshops, and performances for the event. We will include logos on our promotional materials if registered by February 15, 2024.

Small Organization (budget < $250,000), $75

Medium Organization (budget $250,000-$500,000), $150

Large Organization (budget over $500,000), $300

Arts College/University, $375

We understand that funding is especially challenging this year. We do have scholarships available for a few partners, so please email [email protected] if the cost would prohibit you from participating.
