Swing Toronto presents a Partner Charleston beginner workshop taught by Sawako Ono & Simon ThrelkeldLearn 1920s style Partner Charleston, which is done all around the world today, including by Lindy Hoppers!
No prior experience is needed, absolute beginners are welcome, there is no need to bring your own dance partners

1920s Charleston is a quintessential dance of the Roaring 20s, the Flappers and the Jazz Age.
The other style of Charleston is Swing Era or 1930s Charleston, which is the Lindy Hop style of Charleston from Harlem and the Swing Era. Both styles of Charleston are done by Lindy Hoppers around the world.
For Swing Era Charleston take our six week Wednesday Night Charleston that starts July 25th.
Charleston is both a dance in its own right, and very much part of Lindy Hop.
