About this Event
The Sussex Blazing Saddles performance is based on the moment women in the 1890s transformed their clothing, to be able to ride bicycles, and society too.
We will create the shows with local women and girls (you and your bike) over the weekend, starting with workshop/rehearsal in the morning, and a ride with rehearsal in performance sites on the first day, Saturday 21st. On Sunday 22nd, we'll rehearse in the morning and perform along our route 2.30pm-4.30pm, with a 30 minute picnic break halfway.
You will learn some basic techniques and skills of moving safely with your bike and the rest of the cast; the show's choreographic structures and sequences; and potentially incorporate your own moves into the show
You'll have a really fun and sociable time-of-your-life experience, developing your cycling skills and confidence, improving control of your bicycle; stretching every part of you, & having the best fun doing so!
