Our annual celebration of the best in DIY music returns to Cluny 2 on Saturday, 16th January 2027.
Between 1pm and 11pm you will witness Nev Clay solo, The Exes, Faithful Johannes & Neocia, Headfirst for Halos, Irked, The Welsh John Mouse, Nervous Twitch, No Peeling, Onlooker, The Scarlet Hour, Specky Cult and The Standing People.

A little bit about those performing:
Nev Clay
Nev lives near Newcastle and until 2018 was a mental health nurse. He's been clarting around the local music scene for over 30 years. The recent release of his LP "So Little Happened For So Long", his first for 23 years prompted live sessions on BBC6 allowing more ears to be blessed by this national treasure.

The Exes
Formed before anyone was ready, The Exes' brand of melodic garage punk is uniquely their own. They don't play out much and haven't recorded any new material for years, so this is a great opportunity to hear lots of new stuff.

Faithful Johannes and Neocia
Faithful Johannes is a sincerity rapper whose words shine and fly and float over Neocias soundscapes like petals on a swirling river.

Irked are a punk band from round these parts. They formed in 2022. They channel all the killer modern garage punk sounds from G.L.O.S.S to Downtown Boys, from Uranium Club to Pissed Jeans.
