Join Dr Roy McFarlane FRSL & Nicky Crabb (Director Little Green Pig) to learn how to lead writing workshops with children and young people.
About this Event

This second workshop will build on the first online workshop on 24 March and will be tailored to the attendees' needs.

In this workshop, award-winning poet, former youth and community worker and experienced workshop leader Dr Roy McFarlane FRSL will share with you his experience of working with children and young people in community and education settings, including his favourite warm-up and writing exercises to inspire young minds.

Roy will be joined by Nicky Crabb, Director of Little Green Pig, a Sussex-based writing and mentoring charity for children and young people who shares her experiences from being a secondary school teacher to managing writing projects in young offender institutions, children’s hospitals, schools, youth clubs and libraries. There will be time for questions at the end of the workshop.

Book here for the first online session on Tuesday, 24 March. A 50% discount for this Part 2 session will be available once you book the Part 1 workshop. Email us at [email protected] if you have any questions.
