Hall of Fame television sports broadcaster and three-time Emmy Award winner Holly Rowe will return to her alma mater to deliver Working with Joy and Passion: Keys to a Successful Career. She will speak about her inspiring career journey and the defining moments that have led to her success.
Rowe received her undergraduate degree in broadcast journalism while working as a sportswriter for the Daily Utah Chronicle, the Davis County Clipper, and anchoring on the campus television news station. Rowe joined ESPN and ABC Sports in 1995 and has served as a lead reporter on ESPN Saturday Night Prime College Football, Men’s College Basketball, Women’s College Basketball and Final Four, Women’s College World Series, NCAA Gymnastics, and the lead WNBA broadcast team. Rowe was named the first female television analyst for the Utah Jazz in 2021. We are thrilled to welcome her back to the University of Utah for the 2024 Parry D. Sorensen Distinguished Lecture.
