Parranda en El Barrio!

Celebrate the holiday season with us at El Museo del Barrio by embracing the vibrant Puerto Rican tradition of parrandas—lively holiday caroling full of spirit and joy! Join us on Saturday, December 7th at 2:00 PM for an unforgettable afternoon, featuring a live musical performance including audience participation. Dive into the rich origins of parrandas and the rhythmic beats of plena that carry its storytelling legacy. 

Afterward, we'll take our celebration to the streets, filling East Harlem with music and joy! The event is free. All ages are welcome. First come, first serve.
