Parol-Making Workshop

Get your hands glittery and your creativity shining at our Parol-Making Workshop, happening in the brand-new Pasko Pavilion in the OAB West Courtyard! The parol, a star-shaped lantern, is more than just a pretty decoration. It’s a symbol of hope, light, and the Filipino Christmas spirit—basically, a little paper star with a whole lot of meaning. ✨

Come make your own parol and show off your inner DIY superstar. We’ll provide all the materials, the tips, and the tricks; you just bring your sparkle. When you’re done, you can take your lantern home as a keepsake or leave it on the Community Tree as a beautiful offering for everyone to enjoy.

All of our workshops are free to attend, but if you feel inclined to make a donation-- it will go towards the facilitator(s); thank you for supporting our artists!
