Class Details - there are 2 main classes and a Beginner Sampler on Sat. Feb 15th
2:30 pm - Doors Open
3:00 - 4:00pm - The SCORPION Kick Tricks class - Partnered Trick/Lift class with Aaron & Hanna - you must bring your own partner to this class. Please be in good health and be prepared for a demanding class. Wear comfy shoes and clothing. Appropriate for any partner dance genre to incorporate into their dancing, but NOT ON THE CROWDED SOCIAL FLOOR - great for jams, routines, performances, and just plain old fun - video coming to showcase this move you will work on with the amazing Aaron Jones and Hanna Yanello.
Limited space as this takes up a bit of room.

3:00 - 4:00pm - Social Rides and Tricks - Less Death Defying tricks with Rye & Carla - keeping it on the floor with rides, dips, and things that will only moderately give your muscles a workout. We will focus on socially leadable rides and tricks. Probably a good idea to have some sort of swing dance experience prior to this class.
These ideas will be appropriate for all styles of swing dance.
No Partner Needed
3:30 - 4:00pm - Beginner - Intro to Lindy - with Sam Pincus - included with dance pass
4:00 - 7:00pm - PARLOUR NOIR - Social Dance: Swing / Lindy Hop / Balboa / Shag / Charleston
Additional Details
Most of our classes do not require a partner as we usually rotate in group classes. However, this time, we do have a class that does require you to sign up with a partner in advance on Feb 15th and it is the Scorpion Kick class.
Our Level 1, Intro, Tasters, and All Levels classes are all appropriate for new dancers. Often students attend our progressive classes for many consecutive months in order to develop a better understanding of these dance styles, continually build skills for more fun on the social dance floor, and for being part of our community that truly enjoys learning together.
To be respectful of other students, teachers, and staff, we ask that if you arrive late to class, you please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the content before jumping into rotation with others.

Class + dance - $30 / person after Feb 1st
