Bringing together witty social commentary with a distinctive songwriting approach that is very much their own, Parliamo are one of Scotland’s most exciting young prospects. Releasing their debut EP ‘The Parliamo Manifesto’ in 2021, it saw the band employ a tongue-in-cheek approach to some of the darker aspects of life faced by young people and marked them out as a major emerging talent to watch.
Turning heads with their self-proclaimed brand of “underground pop”, the band have since attracted praise from the likes of Clash Magazine, BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 1, Radio Scotland, Radio X, KEXP and more.
Developing a formidable live reputation at their live shows in recent years, the band have performed at the likes of
TRNSMT, New Colossus and the prestigious SXSW, as well as supporting The View and The Lathums at major UK
venues. Gearing up for more dates this spring/summer, the band will play headline shows in Scotland, as well as
festival dates, and a support slot in Glasgow with The Snuts.
Surface Air
From the splintering bone-ashes of progressive rock, post-punk and the sallow remains of no-wave springs a rare bird of apocryphal breed. Surface Air are poised to unleash their brand of aural intoxication unto unsuspecting audiences in 2025 and beyond.
Featuring experimental guitarist Kilian Lee (WINDSHAKE), heavyweight drummer Oli Cocup (My Octopus Mind, Ogives Big Band) and psychic bassist Joe Williams (Jakabol).
