Parliamentary Reads: November

Join us for our November Parliamentary Reads meeting! We’ll be discussing, “This Princess Kills Monsters” by Ry Herman!
Melilot has a lot on her plate, from her domineering stepmother to her useless magical talents, to constant attempts on her life. To make matters worse, she’s being forced to marry a king she doesn’t even know.
When spider-wolves attack her on the journey to meet her husband-to-be, she is rescued by twelve similar-looking huntsmen. Soon she has to contend with near-constant attempts on her life, a talking lion, and a king who can’t recognize his true love when she puts on a pair of trousers. And all the while, she has to fight her growing attraction to not only one of the huntsmen, but also her fiancé’s extremely attractive sister.
We always have physical copies of our book club picks in the shop, but you can also snag ebook editions through our Bookshop.org storefront, and audiobook editions through our Libro.fm storefront (both of which are linked in our bio and on our website)!
