The Parkview Color Run is an event PERFECT for the whole family including veteran runners as well as those just beginning their fitness journey. The run consists of 3 loops around Burnet Park for a total distance of 3 kilometers. The course is very safe--closed to traffic with lots of supervision. Walk or run and be prepared to get messy as our color bombers douse participants with non-toxic, food-grade color dust. Join us for a special Cinco de Mayo themed run this year. We will have a piñata and Mexican treats after the race.
The Color Run is a fundraiser for Parkview Junior Academy, a Pre-K thru 9 grade Christian school located across the street from Burnet Park. This year, the proceeds of our event will go to support our capital campaign which will add a two-classroom expansion to our existing building.
Limited parking is available inside Burnet Park, located at the intersection of Avery Ave and Coleridge Ave. Participants may also park across the street in the parking lot of Parkview Junior Academy, 412 S. Avery Ave, Syracuse and walk over to the park.
There is no rain date. All registrations are non-refundable. T-shirts are guaranteed ONLY to participants registered by Friday, April 12th.
Packet pick-up will take place Friday, May 3rd from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Parkview Junior Academy (412 S Avery Ave, Syracuse, NY 13219) and race day morning from 9:15 am to 9:45 am inside the park.
