A. Calendar: LAUNCHED! Organizations can let commission members know about recreation opportunities coming up. (Google Calendar)
B. ODNR Natureworks Grant (Check in January 2027) Up to $150,000 County allocation (for Lucas County). One park can be picked to use funds received and is the same grant utilized by the City for Ford Park.

A. Kite Nite at Rolf Park – Saturday October 24, 2026
• Proposed time: 5:00–6:30 PM
• Open-house-style community event
• Possible giveaways or providing kites
• Commission member involvement/volunteers
• Weather/backup plan (rain date?)
B. Calvary Church Serve Week Recognition
• Recognize and thank Calvary Church for their recent Serve Week projects throughout the City parks
• Painting, power washing, cleanup, and other improvements
• Discuss formal recognition/thank-you from the Commission
C. Discuss Summer 2027 Programming
D. Discuss 2027 Budget: to recommend updating parks.
E. Establish regular meeting schedule or set next meeting
