About this Event
For many people in Omaha, parking is a mundane fact of life. But a parking space is more than a simple patch of asphalt -- it’s a powerful force that has fundamentally transformed how we live, build, work, and get around. Join us on October 1st as acclaimed journalist Henry Grabar, author of Paved Paradise: How Parking Explains the World, dives into our strange relationship with parking, telling the story of how parking changed our world and how we can change it again for the better.
Henry Grabar’s presentation will be followed by a local panel discussion and Q&A that digs deeper into how parking shapes Omaha, and how better parking policy can lead to a better city.
