Park Shelter at Hawthorn Park - 2025

A great place for a family reunion - This park has a medium shelter (40' x 24') that includes 7 picnic tables and is located near the restrooms. The shelter may be reserved for exclusive use any day of the year. Park hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., and you get the shelter for the entire time. **A shelter reservation does not include exclusive use of the splash pad, only the shelter.**

This park consists of 9.5 acres of land. The softball fields are utilized by the City teams for games and practices in the summer.

• Play Equipment- 2 Sets, Ages 2-5 and Ages 5-12 as well as adaptable wheelchair swing and handlebars
• Splash Pad (weather permitting - between 10 am and sunset - closes for the season early to mid-fall)

Resident fees are for City of Leavenworth or Fort Leavenworth only. Non-residents are outside of the city limits.
