All are welcome to join us at Sawmill County Park this week for our first Wednesday play date in July! This park is a hidden gem! There is a super fun playground. It is next to the Willow Bend Environmental Center and there is a cool nature trail you can take with your kiddos. It's a short family friendly hike with lush riparian areas that provide great wildlife habitat.
At the start of the hike the Rio slices through ancient limestone cliffs on one side and recent lava flows on the other. If you are feeling up for it, a one mile hike through the canyon leads to a wetlands area.
Hiking or not, we hope to see you and your littles this week!
MomCo of Flagstaff (formerly Flagstaff MOPS) will be meeting at different parks each week this summer for a few hours fun and adult conversation. See you there!
