Park After Dark: Astronomy Night: The Perseid Meteors

AstroMark is back on August 11, 2026, at the Historic Park Gazebo during the peak of the Perseids Meteor Shower! Please call the Frisco Historic Park & Museum at 970-668-3428 to reserve your spot on one of four free guided tours: 9:00pm, 9:15pm, 10:00pm, and 10:15pm. Guided tours are 40 minutes long with one of AstroMark’s trained stargazing guides. Space is limited! Walk-ins on the day of the event are not guaranteed a spot on a tour but will have access to the free-standing telescopes and AstroMark’s stargazers.
Please bring a jacket and wear comfortable shoes. AstroMark’s team will set up free telescopes in the Historic Park lawn to get a close-up look at the night sky from 8:45pm to 11:00pm.
