Parents Partnering with Educators: Kindergarten

This in-person workshop is designed for parents and caregivers who have children with intellectual or physcial disabilities and will be starting school for the first time in September 2026.

Parents will attend sessions presented by TVCC's Parent Mentors, All Kids Belong and Special Education staff from the Thames Valley District School Board and the London District Catholic School Board.

The workshop will explore:

• introducing your child to the school
• communicating with your school team
• a typical day in kindergarten day
• exploring the roles and supports within Special Education
• and Positive advocacy. is session.

There will be opportunities for questions and networking throughout the workshop. There is no childcare available during this session.
