Parents of children with disabilities experience immense love, and also increased mental and physical stress. Spend the morning deeply nurturing yourself while connecting with others who get it. We will start with coffee, tea, donuts from Old Abe’s (GF available) and conversation. We will be enjoying restorative yoga, reiki, nature, watercolor painting and more. Childcare available with a pediatric occupational therapist, Katie, from Nurture in Nature.
Open to all parents and caregivers who identify as having children with special needs, developmental delays, or complex medical needs.
*note: there is an education component related to mindfulness based stress reduction. Your waiver or grant may be used in some counties.
