This interactive practical parenting workshop equips parents with simple, effective strategies to reduce conflict, improve communication and build cooperation at home. As children grow, they naturally test limits, experience big emotions and struggle with routines, often leading to daily frustration and power struggles. Parents will learn how to respond to common challenges such as defiance, emotional outbursts, listening issues and routine resistance in ways that build responsibility, independence and emotional resilience rather than ongoing conflict.

Youth ages 6-13 are welcome to come to the FSC during the workshop and participate in supervised activities. Space is limited to 10; there is no additional cost. Please let us know if you are bringing children when you register.
