About this Event
We are delighted to invite you to our next Terra Talks: Parent Education Series, a thoughtfully designed workshop to support families in understanding children’s development and strengthening everyday parenting practices.
Led by Darcy Campbell, a professor, preschool director for 36 years, and educational consultant with over 40 years of experience, this session will focus on what it means to parent “in public.”
From travel and family visits to dining out and navigating busy summer environments, these everyday moments can often feel challenging. Yet they also hold powerful opportunities for connection, growth, and learning.
In this workshop, Darcy will share:
- Why children often struggle more in public settings
- How to stay calm, confident, and grounded as a parent
- Practical, compassionate strategies to support your child in real-world situations
Families will leave with tools to better anticipate challenges, ease transitions, and turn public moments into opportunities for deeper connection and development.
