Join us for an engaging workshop on Dual Language Acquisition, where you'll learn how to support your child in becoming bilingual. Discover practical strategies to nurture language development at home, and explore the benefits of a dual-language environment. Whether you're new to the concept or already practicing, this session will provide valuable insights into fostering language skills in a Montessori setting.

We’ll serve coffee and light appetizers to keep things cozy and relaxed. While we won’t be providing childcare, infants who are developmentally too young to crawl or walk are welcome.

Melissa Rohan is the founder and principal of Waterfront Academy, where she has led for over 10 years with a deep commitment to Montessori education. With experience teaching across every age group—toddler, primary, elementary, and middle school—Melissa brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on expertise to her role. As a mother of three Montessori-raised children, including one currently attending Waterfront Academy, Melissa’s dedication to the Montessori method is personal as well as professional. Raised in a Montessori household herself, with a mother who was a Montessori teacher and a father who was a passionate advocate, Melissa’s life has been shaped by a deep belief in the power of this educational approach.
