This is a free conference tackling the issues that parents say matter most. This year it is how COVID has affected mental health.
About this Event

This year's keynote speaker is Robin Blumenthal. Robin is the author of “Where in the Zoo are You?” Her book and her keynote speech and breakout session are perfect for children and anyone working with children; providing a safe and creative way to have these discussions about trauma in general. But it is particularly perfect for the COVID 19 discussion.

The number one issue that our surveyed parents wanted to discuss at this year’s parent university is how COVID has affected our children’s mental and social wellness. We are confident that Robin is the perfect resource to help address this issue.

A review from Diana Perry of Children's Bookwatch, May 2021 stated

"...I felt that there was a comparison with animals feeling isolated and trapped, with children suffering isolation and loneliness during Covid-19. It's the perfect indirect message to comfort children who haven't been able to fully interact with their friends and teachers and shows that bad times don't last forever. This is the best book I've read so far to help children understand why they're feeling sad and to select the right words to express it. (Ages 5+)"

We want to thank our sponsor, the Legacy Foundation. Thanks to the Legacy Foundation, every attendee will receive a copy of Robin's book!
