This FREE, REGISTERED intimate chat invites parents and educators of young children to examine the difference between a tantrum and a meltdown, including in the light of sensory overload and autism, emotional regulation, how children react and learn, and modern social etiquette.Yeah, sometimes dropping that ice cream cone, truly is traumatic, and no, screaming because you can't get the candy bar is not ok. Putting limits on your child's behavior can be an overwhelming but positive experience once you have the tools.
Bring your questions and walk away with an actionable plan to identify a tantrum vs. a true meltdown, and how to prevent and address them in a positive but firm manner that works for your family. Your child is welcome to attend with you, please "buy" a ticket for each person attending.
