Parent Support Club – Parenting Teens (Thursdays at 11am PT) – Spring 2025

The Parent Support Club: Teen Adoptee Edition. This support club is for parents with adopted children who are currently teens (ages 13-18 years old). We realize that having a group like this would be most beneficial to parents when they are able to actually interact with the facilitators and other parents, so we are limiting the club to the first 15 parents who sign up (couples only need one registration).

There will be two Holt’s Post-Adoption Coaching and Education (PACE) social workers who will facilitate the group. Each of the five weeks, we have designated a topic to address that particularly pertains to your child’s developmental stage. All of these will be looked at through the adoption lens. Our hope is that you can learn from both the PACE social workers and the other adoptive parents in the group. It’s a time for you to both explore what your child needs during this stage of life and also share with others what parenting insights you might have gathered through your lived experience. We want this to be an interactive time for all attending. And most of all we want it to work for you and meet your needs.
