Come meet local schools, education experts and explore your education options while your kiddos play!About this Event
Join us to learn about your local education options, while your kids enjoy some fun athletic activities led by Southside Hornets Athletics Association. This event is free for all families, and lunch will be provided.
Parents, Grandparents, and all caregivers are welcome to join Families Empowered for a discussion led by local leaders about our school options and education resources. We will hear from school leaders, scholarship granting organizations, and advocacy experts, so that you can feel equipped to get your child the best education possible. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and chat privately with the speakers afterwards.
This event is being hosted at Rising Star Baptist Church, and while the adults are meeting in the sanctuary, the kids will be participating in some fun activities in the gym. Please have all children wear tennis shoes, as only tennis shoes are allowed on the gym floor.
