Enjoy a delightful Picnic on the sprawling grounds of The Mad Hatter, located in the Historic Woodbury House, circa 1857, while enjoying & engaging in a fascinating and informative Historical Fashion Show. This event is brought to you in partnership with the Living History Society of Minnesota & Anoka County Historical Society.
Experience and learn about Historical fashions of the 1860s. This is an interactive & informative introduction to fit, form, and function of the many layers of mid-19th century clothing. Hear about how the clothing you wear today connects to what was worn in the past.
Picnic Boxes are available to pre order & enjoy on our sprawling lawn before & during this event. Pre order is not necessary, but recommended as there will be limited availability the day of the event. The Rabbit Hole Cafe (located inside The Mad Hatter) will be open with a full menu, including food & beverages, the day of the event. This will be a busy event, so we recommend pre ordering your picnic box!
