The 8beats Team would like to invite you to the upcoming film screening of the 8beats Anthology Vol 1. on Wednesday, November 3rd, at 7 pm at Paramount Theatre in Kankakee. The 8beats Anthology is a series of eight short films inspired by the Beatitudes from the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:3-10) A diverse group of up-in-coming Christian filmmakers from across North America were brought together by Kankakee native, Executive Producer Sam Sorich and Dallas-based Catholic Creatives for this ground breaking project.
This Homecoming premiere also commemorates the life and work of Dan King who had a major role in the making the film "Seau de Sang".
The run time of the film is 2 hours and will follow with a Q and A hosted by local educator Steve Benoit and Sam Sorich, director of "Seau de Sang" which was filmed on location in Kankakee.
