Join us for a full-day, hands-on clinical workshop designed specifically for student paramedics and graduates.
This interactive skills day brings together Tasmania’s paramedic community to strengthen clinical reasoning, refine core skills, and learn from experienced local clinicians in a supportive, high-engagement environment.
Throughout the day, participants will rotate through practical and case-based sessions covering:
• Clinical case presentations to develop structured thinking and decision-making under pressure
• ECG interpretation and STEMI recognition, including subtle occlusion patterns and activation decisions
• Foundations of airway management, focusing on positioning, ventilation optimisation and troubleshooting common challenges
• Cardiac arrest simulation, with team-based scenarios emphasising leadership, communication and high-performance CPR
Facilitated by local paramedics and educators, this capped event ensures small-group interaction, meaningful discussion and practical skill development.
