Paradise Together: Harvest Celebration & Community Mural

Join us for a special event in our Paradise Together series celebrating the harvest season! In addition to our regular Community Growing volunteer session, this free event offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature, learn more about urban food growing, and contribute to our exciting community art project – a mural celebrating sustainable food and green spaces in the city.

What to Expect:

• Volunteer Session (10:00 AM - 12:00 PM): Start the morning by lending a hand in our garden with Community Growing activities. Whether you're an experienced gardener or new to it, everyone is welcome to help with planting, weeding, and maintaining our thriving green space. • Harvest Celebration Workshop: Learn about sustainable food growing in a short, hands-on workshop. Discover the importance of local food systems, biodiversity, and how we can grow food even in urban settings.
• Community Art Project – Mural Creation: After the workshop, get creative! Help us design and paint a mural that represents our community's commitment to urban community food growing and sustainability. No artistic experience needed – just bring your enthusiasm and ideas!
