Paper Weaving (A&C Tacoma)

Create your own unique woven papers! This technique is perfect for wall art, collage, cards, book arts and sculpture! A process that can be carefree, meditative, spontaneous & even playful. We will explore ideas using a range of different papers; painted, printed, found & commercial. I'll bring examples of some of my own art & samples that will act as a springboard for you to discover your own creative style.

I will share samples, demonstrate the process, answer questions and work with artists individually during the workshop. Each artist will create multiple weavings during the workshop.

A class summary will also be provided afterwards so that artists can continue their exploration independently. All materials provided however feel free to bring any papers you'd like to experiment with. Artists of all levels are welcome. Dress for mess!
