Who doesn't love birds? It feels like Quilting and Bird Watching go stitch-in-stitch. Tiffany will walk you through the steps to make this fun and beautiful paper-pieced, 8-inch quilt block from the book "Backyard Bird Quilts" by Jodie Davis. Tiffany will also provide you ideas on what to do with your block once you are done. She used it to make a decorative pillow. This is an intermediate level class and you should already know the basics of paper-piecing.
In this class you will:
Use color theory to chose the right shades of fabric for your block
learn to make lightly more intricate paper-pieced units to complete your block
tips and tricks to make your paper-piecing easier
