This exciting day long workshop is in two distinct but interconnected halves with a short lunch break.

Part 1 - 11-1:30pm - Creating decorative collage papers.
During the morning session you will create some beautiful handmade and embellished collage papers with artist Jacky Purtill.
Explore using a variety of mark making tools, stencils, stamps, paint, ink and pens to create unique decorative papers. The papers will be used with artist Rachel Davis in the afternoon session to create stunning paper collage floral artwork.
Part 2 - 2-4:30pm - Use your decorative papers to build your piece of mixed media artwork
The afternoon session is an opportunity to use some of the unique, handmade papers created in the morning session with Jacky. Rachel will guide you through planning an engaging composition, balancing layers and patterns and ways to incorporate drawn and painted elements.

Times/duration: 11am - 1.30pm and 2pm - 4.30pm (5 hrs)
Cost: £50 per participant
Max number of participants: 10
Suitable for Adults & over 16
Please bring an apron - you may get messy!
