Paper Mache Mask Making Vejigante style

Raul Moris the Vejigante Mask Artisan and will be conducting several workshops before the June 9 in NYC Puerto Rican Parade 2024. Most of the Caribbean islands and the aboriginal cultures of the Americas have similar historical masks, experiences and methods (depending on materials availables). We hope to make these classes available free or with donation. I will be bringing my Coconut Mask and Vejigantes attire that will be used on this year’s parade for exhibition. We're looking for places that may be interested in hosting us. The workshops will used 90% of recycle materials but will also be needing things like scissors, flower for glue, tape and painting materials and for this we would be recommendation a donation of $25 per participant.
