Paper, Fiber, Costume Jewelry and Ribbon Wrapped Wreaths

Create one of a kind wreaths for yourself or as a gift. Using a foam base, students will be able to choose from multiple fiber techniques as well as paper and costume jewelry to create unique and personal wreath projects. All materials, including two sizes of wreath bases, specialty glues, die cut flowers, wire, yarn, felt costume jewelry, vintage ribbons and rick rack and a vast selection of decorative paper are included. Enjoy this 3 hour class with a friend and take home a wreath or two. Some hand sewing experience would be helpful but is not necessary. Participants will learn how to make flowers and leaves from paper and felt and choose to make various styles of wreaths such as yarn and paper wrapped and will have access to a huge collection of vintage 1800’s ephemera for final accent decorating.

Class size is limited to 8 participants.

There are no cash refunds, however your tuition can be used as credit in a future class, either for yourself or a gift to another, credit towards private lessons or a deposit on a custom commission paper garment.

If you have never been to Art Emergency, it can be a little tricky - Ninth street appears to end right at Delaware but there are still addresses East of this junction. Cross over Delaware and turn right into the SECOND parking lot - it will be on to a gravel lot. The entrance to the classes the second door, half way down the warehouse.
