Khatulistiwa hosted its first performance on 12 May 2023. Over our first year we have put on 25 events, ranging from improvised music, dance, electronics/noise and talks. That's a consistently good effort to host and promote the more experimental fringe side of Malaysia's music and art scene.
So as a mini one year celebration, our 'house band' (as we like to call them) will be performing. Come and join Yong Yandsen, Yii Kah Hoe, Kok Siew Wai, Topman Chong and Richard Allan Bates for what will be a raucous evening!
