Paper Craft Workshop - Notebooks and Bookmarks

This is a make-a-long session for all ages to make bookmarks and refillable notebooks out of old maps and books. You will be using pre-made kits that contain the basic materials to make each item. Additional materials will be available on the day. The notebooks are designed to be easily refilled with any other types of paper as you fill the pages.

Each kit contains materials* for:

1 x refillable notebook

3 x Bookmarks of various lengths (can be switched on the day for different lengths depending on availability).

*Materials:

• Notebook front and back boards

• Bookmark bases

• Ribbons

• Plastic cover to wrap finished notebooks and bookmarks for extra protections (optional)

• Old map and book pages

• Step by Step instructions

There are four different notebook sizes and will be allocated randomly. If you wish to request a specific size please email your request to [email protected] after booking and quote a booking reference.

Notebook sizes:

• A6 Landscape

• A6 Portrait

• A5 Landscape

• A5 Portrait

Booking is essential.

While tickets for this event are free, a minimum of one £5 kit is required per booking. Additional kits will be available to purchase on the day. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

If this event is cancelled by the Hull History Centre, a full refund will be given. If a ticket is cancelled by an attendee only a partial refund is given.

There is a council run pay & display carpark next to the History Centre.
